About Us
The Church Of Jesus Christ ZB/LEBOWAKGOMO is a bible-based community dedicated to the spiritual growth and wellbeing of our congregation. We believe in the power of the word and the transformative love of Christ.
Our journey is guided by the sovereign head of the church, Jesus Christ, as we strive to demonstrate His power to the world.
Why Do We Worship?
UNDERSTANDING OUR PRACTICES THROUGH SCRIPTURE
WHO DO WE WORSHIP?
"You shall worship the Lord, and serve Him only" (Luke 4:8)
WHY DO WE STAND TO SING?
"And the Levites stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel, with a very loud voice" (2 Chronicles 20:19, Psalm 24)
WHY DO WE LIFT OUR HANDS?
"Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and bless the Lord" (Psalm 134:2, 1 Timothy 2:8, Psalm 63:4, Psalm 141:2)
WHY DO WE SPEAK IN TONGUES?
"For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays... I shall pray with the spirit and with the mind also" (1 Corinthians 14:14-15)
MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS

PRAYING IN JESUS' NAME
